New paper on CCI soil moisture merging methodology

A new paper, led by Alexander Gruber from the CLIMERS team, has been published in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing. The paper describes the scientific basis of the new merging methodology used to produce the latest ESA CCI SM multi-satellite soil moisture data sets (v03.2). This method makes innovative use of the the triple collocation technique to determine the optimal contribution of each satellite product to the merged product.
