Roland Lindorfer acquired his BSc in Environmental Systems Sciences at KFU Graz in 2019. Currently, he is pursuing his MSc in Geodesy and Geoinformation at TU Wien, where he joined the Microwave Remote Sensing research group in 2020. After specializing on oceanography in his early scientific work, he picked up a novel focus on subsurface scattering observed in the measurements of active C-band sensors with the aim to improve soil moisture retrieval with respect to this phenomenon.
